Our journey with YWAM began in the late 80’s and early 90’s when, as singles, God called us to join this movement with the motto “To Know God and to Make Him Known.” We met each other in 1994, married in ‘96, and have been blessed since then with 8 children.
Over the years, our service in YWAM has taken a variety of forms. At times it’s been leading a Discipleship Training School or leading a YWAM center. At other times it’s been serving behind the scenes, fixing toilets or driving buses. We’ve had opportunity to teach in a variety of nations and situations.
Currently, Wayne is part of the Tri Leadership Team serving our YWAM community, gives oversight to the administrative side of YWAM Madison, and cares for our buildings and properties. Lea serves on many leadership teams discipling our leaders, serving in Staff Management and Kitchens Overseer for YWAM’s three properties, leading and participating in a variety of prayer and intercession groups, and occasionally teaching in our training schools.
Through it all, our calling and passion remains the same: to train this generation to fulfill the Great Commission and send them out into the mission field!
