Ever wondered what a DTS outreach looks like? Our January Spark Arts & Children at Risk DTS leave for outreach this weekend. Get a sneak peak at what’s in store for the Costa Rica team and imagine yourself in their shoes.

“When we said we wanted to come, our contacts messaged us back and said, ‘We get up at 4 every morning to farm. Also, please pray for rain because we’re out of water, so we’e currently taking water from the cows and filtering for use.’
“This is probably the most bizarre outreach opportunity I’ve had so far, and I CAN’T WAIT!!!” [Keisha, outreach leader]

Keisha shares a sweet outreach moment from her roomie Kayla which is one of the reasons our team is so pumped for their time in San Jose:
“After we gave this woman a Bible during our Bible distribution outreach, she began reading out loud to her family. She kept reading for a long time as we waited for the van. She was extremely thankful for this precious gift. That same day, we gave a Bible to another woman whose mother had just died. She didn’t know if her mom was in heaven and was very broken and upset. We shared with her about the hope that is in Jesus and she prayed with us to receive Jesus. Seeing the way these two women responded to the Bible really impacted me. I don’t want to take the word of God for granted ever again.”
