Hi! We’re Chris and Michele Hickey! We have each served faithfully in YWAM since 2014. In the spring of 2022, we got married here in Madison, and we plan to continue serving here for many years to come!
Michele oversees the training and coordination of our Discipleship Training Schools (DTS). She teaches, disciples, and works with leaders, staff and students to equip them in their callings. She also serves on YWAM Madison’s leadership team to steward the vision of our base.
Over the years, Chris has primarily been a teacher and staff member in our post DTS training. He is currently our website administrator, and has developed further training and ministry in apologetics to reach the university sphere in the western context.
We do what we do because we desire to see young people, equipped with a Biblical worldview and the character of Christ, sent out into the world to fulfill the Great Commission. God is raising up a generation of passionate and gifted youths with the desire to make a difference in the world, and our job is to disciple them and mold them into effective missionaries for the Kingdom of God!
