Hi! We’re Chris and Michele Hickey! We have each served faithfully in YWAM for 8 years in Madison, WI. In the spring of 2022, we got married here in Madison, and we plan to continue serving here for many years to come!
Michele oversees the training and coordination of our Discipleship Training Schools (DTS). YWAM Madison runs three of these schools a year, and for each one, Michele helps train the leaders and staff, oversees curriculum development, teaches in our schools, and so much more! Over the years, Chris has primarily been a teacher and staff in the Bible School for the Nations (BSN), but he also teaches in our DTSs, works on the YWAM Madison website, cooks for schools and staff events, and is beginning to develop further training curriculum in apologetics that YWAM Madison will offer in the near future.
We do what we do because we desire to see young people, equipped with a Biblical worldview and the character of Christ, sent out into the world to fulfill the Great Commission. God is raising up a generation of passionate and gifted youths with the desire to make a difference in the world, and our job is to disciple them and mold them into effective missionaries for the Kingdom of God!
