We have been in a missionary journey through YWAM since the late 90’s and early 00’s when we did not know one another. “Knowing God to Make Him Known” is more than a motto to our family, it became the way we decided to live. We built a way of simplicity and partnership in 2008 by marriage, and since there we have been serving God by serving the Body of Christ among the nations from Brazil to China and Chinese people became our place on earth, passing by other continents too. Our team includes our son, our World Boy, Thomaz Braga.
Our service in YWAM has taken a variety of forms. At times it has been leading Discipleship Training Schools, Brazil DTS Center, managing the operational side of the base or training leaders. At other times it has been serving behind the scenes, studying and preparing biblical content to teach, managing UofN transcripts to enable Christians around the world keep moving in their missionary or academic training, zealously managing the money sent to our base, facilitating oral Bible translation projects or mentoring staff. Both of us have a profound passion for the Lord of the Word and the Word of God because of that we’ve had the opportunity to teach in a variety of nations and settings during all those decades.
Through it all, our calling and passion remains the same: Serving God by serving the Body of Christ around the world while they are in their journey of love and obedience with the Father; walking humbly, and at the same time, boldly with Jesus, and by the power of Holy Spirit contributing some way to the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Gratitude, generosity, celebration, and hospitality are the core of our life and family. Through those values we have “Knowing God and Making Him Known”.
