One week ago today, the 8 of us started our journey to Africa! It has already been filled with excitement, but my first true adventure of this trip happened when I stepped onto that first plane. For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to fly, so you can imagine my excitement when we left Chicago by air! It was about as good as I imagined…the only thing I hadn’t factored into the experience, was the pressure in my ears! Other than that, I loved it, and can’t wait for even more adventures!! – Mycah
