The first people our team met during our day of evangelism in Uganda were three Muslim women. As Brook and Codi spoke to the women, they began to understand more of what the women believe. Brook, taking what he understood and letting the Holy Spirit work through him, began to explain to the women how the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ.
As Brook and Codi were coming to an end of what to say, our YWAM translator and contact Monday stepped in. As a former Muslim, Monday was able to relate with the women more than anyone. After a few minutes of discussion, Monday finished speaking.
“They would like to become Christians,” Monday told the team.
Brook led the women in prayer, and immediately the new Christ followers began asking for prayer for healing and provision.
This has been one of the many encounters from the week. Overall, we have been able to pray for approximately 135 people, healing prayers for around 25, and 6 prayers for salvation!
