“Movie Stars”

by Paul Allen

We had an interesting experience tonight. We had just arrived in Aurangabad and we went to a neighborhood for a street meeting. The street there was cobblestone with row houses lining either side.

It was a very narrow street, just wide enough for a car to fit down. As soon as we walked into the neighborhood, we felt like movie stars with people pressing in all around us, asking for autographs, inviting us into their homes for Chai.

Over a hundred people surrounded us as our drama began. After the drama, people even climbed on roofs to listen to PD share his testimony. It was sheer chaos.

And even amidst the chaos, I realized there is so much potential here in India. I am loving so much about this place….

Do you remember going to see Billy Graham in Baltimore b4 you left for college? That image came to mind as I read this and tried to imagine you experiencing this – your very own “sermon on the mount.” I am humbled by what God has done through you. Words don’t even capture it. I love you and I am overjoyed. Praise God.
    xo across the oceans,
