The Streets DTS
Businessmen. Wanderers. Activists. College students. Homeless veterans. Refugees.
There is a one place where these groups cross paths: The Streets.
About This Elective
What if as we live our lives, we invite people in?
What if we lived our normal Christian lives outside the walls we’ve grown accustomed to?
What if, while we are being transformed in DTS, the story of our lives begins to transform others?
That’s the heart behind The Streets focus — trying out the what ifs. Seeing each individual as worthy of our time and attention. Getting outside of our walls and doing life while inviting others into it.
We will take things like a nightly meal, worship or even game nights to the streets, inviting all who would like to join us, no strings attached. Our goal is to see the individual, to be obedient to God’s leading, and to see what He wants to do through us in this city.
What To Expect?
A YWAM DTS is for people of all ages (17+) who are serious about taking their relationship with God to the next level. You’ll be in situations that challenge you and bring out your strengths and weaknesses as you learn to give your all for Jesus. You’ll learn how to hear God and to obey Him. Your relationship with God will be on the fast track!
