Doreen（Jingfang Zhou)
My name is Doreen, my Chinese name is Jingfang Zhou, I had baptized in 2007, I saw that my
mother’s soul flew out of her body in a vision when I was rehearsing worship songs in Church in
2008, so I started to seek God.
I did my DTS in China in 2012, God has called me go out of China to serve in 2016. In 2018,
because I had accepted tumor surgery and removed a part of organs and a tumor as big as a fist,
and my mother got cancer in the same year, so I quit my job to take care of her in the hospital for
a year. I saw many people died in the cancer hospital, some people are even younger than me,
they got end stage cancer, I understood that “you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.
What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”(James 4:14)
At the same time, I got the revelation from Ecclesiastes 12:1, serve and honor and enjoy Him in
your youth before you grow old and say, “life is not pleasant anymore.” when my mother finished
cancer treatment, I decided to respond God’s call, and went to South Korea, Jeju YWAM base to
serve the Lord in 2019.
In January 2020, I went to Kona campus in Hawaii to start my degree track, and I graduated and
got my counselling degree in June 2022. I came to Wisconsin and started to work with YWAM
Madison in September. Thanks so much for you supporting me, “Rejoice and be glad, because
