We are currently in our third week of outreach and we have seen God’s faithfulness in so many ways. We have truly tasted and seen the goodness of God.
Over the past few weeks our team has had so many opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus through working at special needs orphanages, prayer walking, blessing people, doing friendship evangelism, and praying for healing at a children’s hospital. God has really given us a heart for the people of East Asia.
Sometimes it doesn’t seem like we can make a difference with only a day or so at an orphanage, but seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces when we walked in proved that they saw the joy and love of Jesus in us.
John 17:4 says, “I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.”
As we head to our second destination on the bullet train, we are reminded of this verse and feel a sense of completion as a team for the work God did through us at our first destination.
We loved like the Father loves. We served like the Father serves. We loved and hugged orphans and showed them the joy that the Father brings. We created friendships that will last a lifetime. We know that God has more for us and we cannot wait to experience the fullness of it!
