About YWAM Madison

For 40 years, YWAM Madison has been a vibrant missions community that empowers you to transform nations through the love and power of Jesus. We’re international and multi-generational, connected by our passion to know and serve God and to make Him known to people around the world.

Warren and Gayle Keapproth led a small team to establish YWAM Madison in 1986 to meet the spiritual needs of university students, and to encourage, engage, and equip students to serve a needy world when they return to their home countries and jobs. Since then, the vision of YWAM Madison has grown to encompass many more things. However, we continue to embrace university ministry, are passionate about training and sending, and love to see the various spheres of society impacted by the Kingdom of God and Biblical truths.

Our City

Madison, the capital of Wisconsin, is a friendly and beautiful city that is alive with vibrant cultures, activism, and mid-western values. We’re well-known for the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!), our lakes, and, of course, cheese.
