I came to YWAM Madison in the fall of 2012 and joined staff in April of 2013. Since then, I have learned a lot about God’s heart for people, the nations, and for me.
I am an aspiring midwife with hopes to attend a six month intensive course in Homer, Alaska, USA in January of 2017. In April of 2016, while I was shadowing a midwife, I attended my first birth. It was there that I felt the Lord remind me of Joan of Arc – “I am not afraid, I was made for this”. I felt Holy Spirit tell me that He has created me to be his hands in this area of health care as someone who comes in as his light and prays for these babies at the beginning of life. I believe God has called me to this profession to combat the injustices of education, value and worth, and (even at times) the decision for life. There are a few countries the Lord has been stirring in my heart, but as of right now, I do not have a set destination.
My heart is to empower women and reassure them of their worth and value in Christ by building relationships through education and prenatal care.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
