Beth Ann Smith

I joined YWAM way back in the last century (1996 to be precise) and started off in the beautiful nation of Belize.  Since 1998 I’ve been based in Madison, Wisconsin from whence I’ve traveled to more than 20 nations to teach and train both budding and seasoned missionaries.  My passion is that they would understand the God they are telling others about – that they would understand both his power and his goodness so that they can trust him in everything.

I’ve staffed many Bible schools and have helped pioneer schools from Belize to South Africa to the Pacific and Asia as well as right at home in Madison.  In 2014, I headed up developing a new course in the University of the Nations called Foundations for Transforming Nations.  The school is focused on showing students, through the Bible and history, how God transforms individuals, nations, and situations to bring his own goodness to our troubled planet. It’s my very great privilege to lead this training program as well.  I’m also leading our continuing education team in Madison and pursuing a masters degree in Christian Spiritual Formation.

God has stirred up a desire to own my own home in Madison.  I’m currently working towards raising $500 a month in order to purchase a condo in Madison near our training center so that I can host students and speakers in my home and show them God’s own hospitality.  Thanks for joining me in this endeavor!
